College is one of the best journeys for students in the entire life because they get to experience a variety of things during this time. From making amazing friends to leading some of the greatest leadership roles, going for trips, exploring new places and managing maximum stress, students go through everything during their time at college. Some years, however, are different than others especially freshman and senior years. This is because as a freshman, you have no idea how to adjust to the new environment while as a senior, you are worried about how you will survive in the absence of this environment. Senior years holds a special place in the life of students. Three or four years of friendship and attachment to college is about to end with a stress for job after graduation. I used to ask colleagues to do my assignment box for me a lot of times during my senior year so that I have maximum time to spare to make memories. However, in an attempt to make memories, senior students ignore their plans for future and career which could be a problem. So in order to help you, following are some tips for your senior year at college so you can avoid the mistakes students often make:
2. Spend your free time productively: There are instances when all your friends are busy with something or simply too lazy to have some fun. These are the duration's you must not waste because this is the perfect opportunity for you to search for the best possible internships and jobs. Companies usually start their recruitment drives a few months prior to graduation so keep an eye on various application deadlines. The best thing is to do is to create a timeline during this free time in which you can keep track of the approaching deadlines. 3. Earn what you need: In an attempt to earn a lot of money, students tend to spend too much of their time working thereby missing all the fun they should be having in their final year. Undoubtedly, work is important for survival but the aim here should only be survival and no more. You have to work harder after graduation to earn money anyway! So work your normal hours to fulfill the living expenses and keep the saving motive aside for some time so that you can enjoy the time to the fullest. 4. Save time in whatever way you can: Avoiding procrastination, missing lectures that were of no use and asking others to do my assignment for me were some strategies I used to save time. You will crave for extra time when you have all the assignments due and your friends are going for trips.
